Writing has been an important, but private, part of Jess’s life and creative practice since early childhood. Recently while at an art residency outside Joshua Tree, CA, deep in the Mojave Desert, she allowed herself to delve more deeply into her writing with the intention of sharing her words upon returning to civilization.
